Shouldn't we, as designers, be trying to make the best designs possible that can reach the most audiences? Now granted, I am fine with not supporting the outdated browsers :cough: IE6 :cough: but at the same time, it is still our job as designers to create work that reaches as wide an audience as possible while maintaining a solid look and feel. To say "if they have it installed, it will look the best..." leaves to much to chance in my opinion. If people can't even update/upgrade there default browser, what makes you think they are going to be able to get the nice fonts to make certain sites look prettiest, especially if they aren't free?
