3D Spiral Component Giveaway

Written by David Appleyard, On 20th October 2008.
Filed in Competitions.

We have teamed up with FlashLoaded to give away 3 free copies of their latest Flash component, 3D Spiral (a retail value of $49.95 each).

The 3D Spiral is a Flash gallery component that displays images on an interactive 3D rotating spiral. You are able to obtain different layouts by changing the height and width of the spiral. The viewer can scroll, move up/down and zoom the spiral freely.

The component includes customizable opening and closing animation styles and a built-in preloader for seamless transitions between thumbs and large images.

Have a look at the demos for a full example.

How can I win?

The contest is now over I’m afraid, and we’ve announced the winners. Keep your eyes peeled for our next giveaway!

Great component, very funny to play with. Yet, it can be a disturbing user experience; it’s no easy to find sth within.

It reminds me of a DNA ring..

Marvellous! A little bit slow to load… but still amazing.

Nice component. Reminds me of a freaked out version of Cooliris

  7. Anne says:

Wide spiral was the nicest. I loved the visual nature of the stacking but found the tall and spiral rotating versions might be a little intimidating to a low end technology user.
Overall a brilliant change to most slideshows, I loved it.

I just recently needed to design a “DNA” type flash component for a client – this would have made things a lot easier! Looks Fun!

A very nice variation of the 3D Wall component. I must say that the Papervision3D engine has awesome capabilities.
The possibility to load swf and video will be more than welcome.
